Personality:
Varya is a bouncy, bubbly rather hyper personality who takes great joy in learning, the stories the ancestors used to tell her as a child always fascinated her, made her crave to know what the world beyond her mountain village home was really like. She's super friendly and had this sort of magnetism that people find endearing, she'd hard to dislike yet she's secretly insecure and will often worry that she's not likable enough.
Naturally inquisitive she'll investigate anything new, peppering those that catch her interest with incessant questions.
Background Story:
She was from somewhere other than here, that much is true, born the daughter of Javier Declain and Nadiyya Hasina, she comes from a world known as Asmiara. Upon this world she's known as the Shaman, the leader of a type of dragons known as Mystics for their ability to control magic in its many forms and their close bond to the one whom originally created her kind, the concept Magic, Ceri Lavoie herself. She'd discovered many things in her long life after the death of her father, her mother had died in childbirth, one such thing was the discovery of a half brother, whom was also her twin, Kallai Lehrer, leader of the fire dragons. She'd found love with an ice dragon, Logan and she was happy, she knows this keenly but an even more recent revelation, that in much the same manner that Ceri was reborn as the young witch Everleigh Paxton, she herself was a reincarnation of the first ever dragon created, knowledge she acquired when she came face to face with her past selves twin sons.
She didn't know how to handle the knowledge, or the disappearance of her mate, who'd vanished seemingly without a trace. It was this that drove her to leave, she needed to find herself again and she couldn't do it where there were so many people still counting on her and looking up to her. She travelled back to earth, a place she'd visited once before in her youth and settled in Russia, where she paid her bills by reading peoples fortunes at a store for tips.
Sometimes she'd catch herself missing home, yet still she hasn't returned, she's not ready, no doubt people would be disappointed in her, her brother would think she'd abandoned him, even if this wasn't the case at all. She'd go back eventually, she just needs time. That's what she'd been telling herself for months, even when she lost her job, got thrown out of her apartment when she could no longer pay the rent and fell in with a gang of Russian outlaws, known only as The Nikolaeva. They took her in, made her feel like one of their own, causing her to adopt the alias: Varya Nikolaeva.
Quiet for so long, the voices, the whispers of the ancestors only she sees have started once more, urgency that tells her to return home. For better or for worse it was time to go home.

Powers/Abilities:
Taking all aspects of purple's past and present into consideration, purple symbolizes magic, mystery, spirituality, the sub-conscious, creativity, dignity, royalty – and it evokes all of these meanings more so than any other colour. This being said Varya's abilities are as Follows:
Human Form Only:
Mystical Kiss: As a defensive mechanism she's able to channel a small amount of the same substance that forms her Mystical Breath in dragon form, rendering the person under her thrall with a single kiss. This would give her chance to flee should they actually be a threat.
Human/Dragon Forms:
Spellcraft: The ability to craft and cast spells, this ranges from a simple spell to a massive scale spell. She can achieve this in both human and dragon forms but some spells are more effective in one specific form.
Energy Channelling: She's able to channel magical energy into or out of other objects, for example: Gemstones or crystals. This makes her rather adept at creating charms, but be warned, if you ask this Dragon Mystic for a charm she's going to charge you..girl gotta make a living somehow.
Shamanism: The ability to talk to spirits of the dead.
Creative Inspiration: A passive ability to promote creativity.
Dragon Form Only:
Mystical Breath: Instead of being able to breath fire, or ice...or the number of other elemental weapons dragons can harness, in her dragon form Varya can breath a sort of purple mist that has a mystical effect on people, more or less putting them under her thrall. This is on top of being able to wield magic and cast spells even when in dragon form.
